About Us

Limelight Theatre School first opened their doors in May 2001.  Over the last 15 years we have grown into one of the most successful schools in the South Midlands.  We moved into our new premises in October 2014 which has become home to the fabulous ‘Team Green’ family.

We believe if your child learns a skill they should get every opportunity to put that skill into practise and all our pupils are taught the ‘triple threat’ work program, i.e. they all learn to sing dance and act.  Each year our pupils take part in our annual spectacular showcase held at The Deco or The Derngate theatres.  We also present ‘parents evening’ type shows where you are able to see the skills your child has learnt throughout the previous terms and our ‘West End Kids’ classes also have their own performance once a year.

Past performances have seen the children dance, sing and act in pantomimes, TV commercials and films.  We have performed at the British Grand Prix, The Haymarket Theatre in the West End and Disneyland Paris, Wembley Stadium and London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

Our teachers are all industry professionals and have worked in the West End, toured internationally and appeared in TV and film with too many credits to name.  We do know and understand the entertainment industry from the inside out and have contacts that allow our students to take full advantage of so many amazing opportunities.

However, we believe the most important quality of Limelight Theatre School is it’s family feeling.  We support and nurture ALL our students regardless of their age, ability, family background, ethnicity or gender because after all, that’s what family’s do.
